BAKHMUT PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS AS INITIAL LEVEL OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE XIX – EARLY XX CENTURY

Abstract

The article attempts to explore the conditions and peculiarities of primary education in the Bakhmut povit in the context of parochial schools’ building. It describes the circumstances of participation of the Orthodox clergy and county agencies in the spiritual and socio-cultural development of the region. It analyzes the process of historical development of the primary units of primary education in Donbass region.
