The editorial board of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy's scientific journal, Proceedings of the Kyiv Theological Academy, adheres to the principles of open science as set forth in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). The board complies with the international Sherpa/RoMEO standards regarding the self-archiving and dissemination of scientific publications.

Archiving Policy
1. Preprint:
Authors may post their pre-review manuscript on:

- institutional or subject-specific repositories;
- scholarly communication platforms (e.g., SSRN, OSF).
2. Postprint:
Authors may archive and distribute the postprint, provided that:
- A link to the journal publication is included.
- no commercial use is made of it;
- No changes are made to the content.
3. Published Version:
Authors may self-archive the published version (publisher's PDF) in:
- Institutional repositories;
- Scholarly platforms;
- personal websites
under the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license and with a full bibliographic citation.
Long-Term Preservation and Accessibility
The journal ensures the digital preservation of publications by:
- backups on external archive servers;

Readers and users may:
