Funding Sources and Advertising Policy

The financial policy of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy's academic journal, Proceedings of the Kyiv Theological Academy, is designed to ensure transparency, independence, and integrity in the editorial process. The journal adheres to COPE guidelines regarding the avoidance of conflicts of interest related to funding or advertising.

Funding

The publication has received institutional support from the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy.

The editorial and technical work is typically carried out on a voluntary basis or as part of academic obligations.

Advertising and direct marketing policy

The publication does not feature advertisements on its website or in the print edition of the journal, and it does not generate revenue from advertising. The editorial decisions of this publication are made independently of its funding sources.

The editorial board employs a variety of strategies to promote the journal as a form of direct marketing. These strategies include the dissemination of information about the latest issue of the journal on social media and on the official online resources of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy, as the journal's founder and publisher. The editorial board also presents the journal at thematic academic conferences. The primary objective of these initiatives is to expand the readership and pool of authors.

Conflicts of interest

The content of the publication, editorial decisions, the peer review process, and the acceptance of submissions are not subject to external influence.

In the event that funding is received for the publication of specific materials, authors must indicate the source of funding in the manuscript (Financial Disclosure).

The principle of editorial autonomy

The editorial process, inclusive of peer review and publication decisions, is entirely autonomous from financial considerations.

Transparency of financial transactions

The journal guarantees transparency with regard to the sources of funding, on the condition that it does not conflict with contractual obligations or prevailing legislation.
