Copyright Policy
Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal agree to the following terms:
- They retain the copyright to their manuscripts and grant the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy's academic journal, Proceedings of the Kyiv Theological Academy, the right of first publication.
- Submitting a manuscript to the journal and having it accepted for publication means that authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the material in print and electronic form. This license also allows the journal to include the material in international abstracting and bibliographic databases.
Authors may deposit the published version of the article in institutional or disciplinary repositories; distribute it on personal or professional websites; and use the material for educational or research purposes, provided that the publication is not altered, is not used for commercial purposes, and a full bibliographic citation of the publication in the journal is provided.
Responsibility of the Authors
The authors guarantee that the submitted manuscript is original and does not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of third parties.
They confirm that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another publication.
If the manuscript uses materials belonging to third parties, such as figures, tables, or data, the authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and citing the sources correctly.
Publisher's Responsibility
The journal ensures a transparent and ethical publication process, as well as open access to all materials, in accordance with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license terms.
The journal guarantees the long-term digital preservation of content by archiving it in internal and external repositories.
