This article outlines the fact and indicates the reasons of adverse attitude of most psychiatrists and psychotherapists to the questions of a religious character. It discusses some psychopathological religious problems and issues arising from the existence of such phenomena. The author welcomes the cooperation between the doctors and clergy and turn to spirituality in medicine. The article analyzes the main causes of mental illnesses and points out to the need of spiritual care.
