The article is devoted to the 520th anniversary since the repose of Martyr Macarius, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Rus. It presents the evidence of church history about his service and conciliar election to Kyiv See, as well as the trip to Kyiv and martyr’s death; the issue of honoring and miraculous grace from the action of the relics of Saint Martyr Macarius has been partly considered.
