Abstract

As the title implies, the article describes the historical prerequisites of the formation of Ukrainian-Conciliar Episcopal Church in Lubny Council on 4–5 June 1925. It draws our attention to the causes of separation of national church movement. It gives a detailed analysis of the history of autocephalous movement in Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the first half of the 20-ies of XX century.
