У статті йде мова про війни святого імператора Юстиніана І Великого з вандалами, ост- і вестготами за відновлення територіальної цілісності «римського світу» і про те, яке значення мала перемога Візантії над «варварами» для становища Православної Церкви в імперії.
The article describes the st. emperor Justinian I the Great’s war with the vandals, east and west Goths to restore the territorial integrity “of the Roman world” and the significance of the victory of Byzantium over the "barbarians" for the position of the Orthodox Church in the empire.
